How much do you train each week?

10 hours.

How do you split the training between speed training and technique?

A bit of both - individual and mixed. Some intervals with maps, some without.

Is there one tip that has particularly helped to improve your performance?

Competing in the Park World Tour.

Playing Catching Features PC game.

Having a personal coach.

What indulgences (if any) did you have to give up?

Chocolate; curry.

What do you do to relax?

Sleep and read.

What areas do you like orienteering in most?

Sand dunes and the south.

Have you won any races?

3rd in Park World Tour; 6th in World Champs Relay.

How do you run so fast through terrain without falling over or twisting an ankle?

I strap my ankles and do gym work on a wobble board, but I do fall over sometimes.

Was there any other sport you enjoyed when you were at school and had to give up to concentrate on orienteering?

Netball.

At primary school; yes, was good.
